Library Changes Database Access - Update !!!

Authorization to use the many databases found on the Library District's site have been changed and are presently working. There are a few that are not: Wilson Biographies Illustrated and LitFinder being the notable exceptions. Thank you for your patience during this transition.

These databases are accessible from home. You will need to enter a library card number and your pin. Enjoy!

New Databases

We're proud to announce the additions of ProQuest Platinum, Grolier Online and The Historical New York Times to our online database family.

In ProQuest Platinum you'll find many great periodicals in business, education, general reference, health, language arts, sciences, social sciences, and other curriculum-specific subject areas.

Grolier Online contains comprehensive reference works like the Encyclopedia Americana, New Book of Knowledge and Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia as well as Roget's II: The New Thesaurus and the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language

The Historical New York Times online provides full text coverage of the New York Times from 1851 through 2005 and is searchable by keyword (“Titanic sinks”) or by date (April 16, 1912). Scroll through all related articles, or use the Page Map to view the entire page and navigate through the paper from first page to last.

Browse them (you may need your library card and pin handy!) and see the superior content they have to offer!
